Important Information concerning becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher There at two sections to Spiritual Education and Enrichment courses (250 credits) - Part A and part B. When a student completes these courses s/he is eligible to "apply" to the Unity Licensed Teacher program. To apply, one would be wise to down load the LUT Handbook found on the Unity International website by clicking the Education Link. Complete, step by step information can be found in the LUT Handbook. It is imperative that you "apply" by writing a "letter of intent" have it signed by your minister or if you are in the filed without a minister find a Unity Leader qualified to support you on your journey. Submit your letter of intent to Shirley Kennedy at LTC@unity.org. Your next step, after you have been invited into the program is to take the Psychological Exam. Once you have been accepted and passed the Psychological Exam you are on your way to becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher. You will be invited back to Unity Village to take the Leadership Courses. You will also be supported on your journey by the staff of SEE and many students traveling the same path as you. If your desire is to be a Minister you must complete at lease 120 SEE courses before you may enter Unity Seminary.
